Maryland person dies in early morning head-on crash in DC
WASHINGTON ( DC News Now) — D.C. police are investigating a deadly crash that happened early Tuesday morning. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a two-vehicle crash happened around 3:15 a.m. on DC-295, north of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast exit.
A speeding wrong-way driver caused an overnight crash on DC-295 that killed the driver and left another person in critical condition, authorities say. The crash occurred early Tuesday on DC-295 north of the Pennsylvania Avenue SE exit.
